The two countries announced the initiation of a new Strategic Dialogue, which will oversee their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. This framework will include trade, investment, defense, energy, climate, transport, education, digitalization, and innovative technologies. Both governments also expressed support for establishing a German-UAE Investment Council to bolster economic ties.
In conjunction with the political engagements, business and investment agreements were signed. A total of 29 accords and memoranda valued at over €9.35 billion were exchanged between UAE and German companies. Additionally, the two governments endorsed a UAE investment package worth €40 billion for Germany, with key sectors including digital infrastructure and data centers. The broader economic plan also targeted energy, advanced industry, and technological development. Trade in non-oil goods between the UAE and Germany reached a total of $15.5 billion in 2025.
