    BERLIN / RankWire.AI / – During his official state visit to Germany, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held meetings with prominent German business leaders and corporate executives in Berlin. These discussions took place at a high-level roundtable, where the UAE President was briefed comprehensively on corporate operations, industrial initiatives, and technological advancements in key European manufacturing industries. This engagement reflects both nations’ efforts to broaden their commercial partnerships, increase joint venture investments, and enhance bilateral trade across strategic growth markets.

    The dialogue centered on boosting trade and investment links between the UAE and Germany, emphasizing the private sector’s pivotal role in fostering innovation in industry, artificial intelligence, and clean energy projects. Sheikh Mohamed underlined the UAE’s dedication to maintaining a competitive investment landscape, supported by legislative measures, advanced regulatory infrastructure, and access to international logistics hubs. As UAE President meets German business leaders, bilateral non-oil trade has reached €13.4 billion, highlighting the deepening commercial integration connecting European manufacturing centers with Middle Eastern trade networks.

    This meeting was held concurrently with the bilateral business forum in Munich, where government ministers and corporate leaders signed 30 memoranda of understanding and business agreements totaling €9.66 billion. Official statements from the Emirates News Agency confirmed that these accords focus on high-growth sectors such as advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, robotics, healthcare technology, and port infrastructure. UAE Foreign Trade Minister Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi pointed out that total UAE investments in Germany have increased to €34.5 billion, illustrating robust institutional investment flows between the two economies.

    Bilateral Forum Confirms Thirty Commercial Agreements Valued at Nine Billion Euros

    German corporate leaders expressed keen interest in expanding their operations within the UAE, citing its strategic position as a key trade route connecting European exporters to markets in Asia and Africa, alongside the Middle East. Industry leaders examined strategic initiatives aimed at accelerating collaborative research and development efforts in green hydrogen, industrial automation, and digital infrastructure resilience.

    The visit also featured bilateral economic dialogues led by Federal Minister of Economic Affairs Katherina Reiche and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. As a result, both governments announced the launch of a new Strategic Dialogue framework, reviving the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership initially established in 2004. This institutional platform will guide joint efforts in international security, clean energy, transportation infrastructure, and defense technology sectors.

    Focus on Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Infrastructure in Major Deal Signings

    The Emirati delegation, comprising senior cabinet officials, regional sheikhs, and industry leaders, participated in specialized roundtable discussions centered on diversifying supply chains. Leadership teams confirmed ongoing working groups to oversee project progress and facilitate regulatory processes for cross-border investments.

    Updates regarding regulatory clearances, joint venture milestones, and trade performance will be issued through official government channels. Regular meetings of joint steering committees are planned to monitor the execution of the €9.66 billion agreement, as both nations continue to expand their economic cooperation.
